CR3 recently completed a challenging project to ensure a heat exchanger was thoroughly cleaned at a client’s fibre production plant in Patalganga, India.

The unit, which had a weight exceeding 6 tonnes and a length of 4 meters, was housed within a tightly congested section of the plant, rendering it inaccessible for maintenance. CR3 removed the unit from its base and transported it 50 meters across the plant using steel rollers. A mobile crane was then used to move the exchanger to an open area for easier access.

Our teams used a specialist chemical process to clean the heat exchanger before transporting it back to its original location and securing it in place.

Thanks to the expertise and dedication shown by the CR3 teams, the project was completed with the utmost precision and without any incident. CR3’s methodical pre-planning, combined with an efficient startup process, was acknowledged by the client’s site president, who conveyed the company’s appreciation for a project perfectly executed.
