Our safety performance is enhanced by continually investing in structured training programs, knowledge sharing, new processes and modern, automated equipment that increases productivity, while minimizing the risk of injury.

We have a web portal for managing safety and competence training across the business called the Safety Passport System. Under the Safety Passport System, all field employees are issued with individual safety passports that maintains their biodata and details of all certified training completed. The system also serves as a Group wide database and ensures all sites have access to up to date resumes, training records, training and development plans and certifications for their staff. In order to ensure that our safety training is kept in line with current thinking, we closely monitor for any changes in regulations or recommended practices and incorporate these improvements into the training courses.

As our people are the core of our business, we provide significant resources to ensure all staff have the best training available in the industry. To enable us to do this, we have built two large dedicated training facilities in Rayong, Thailand and Jamnagar, India. These facilities provide supervisory, safety and trade based training and validation services for all staff.

Our training programs are certified, tracked and managed by our Safety Passport System and adhere to the following principles:
