CR3 Sustainability Policy

CR3 is committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and all staff, to deliver a fair, safe and sustainable future. We acknowledge that serious, urgent, and immediate action is needed to combat climate change, and we will take responsibility for doing our share.

CR3 Clean Air Initiative

CR3 is committed to reducing its environmental impact and contributing to a healthier future. Our Clean Air Initiative is a significant step towards this goal, a comprehensive program to replace the high-emission diesel-powered engines in our equipment with cleaner alternatives by 2030.

Clean Energy Solutions

CR3 is actively growing its renewable energy business, which will account for 25% of Group revenues by the end of 2027. This will involve CR3 acquiring more clean energy customers that produce energy using renewable sources like wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, and tidal.

Sustainability Report 2025

ESSG Report 2024

We are very proud to announce the release of CR3’s first Environmental, Social, Safety, and Governance (ESSG) report. The CR3 Group has been collecting data and improving ESSG responsibility since 2019, and this comprehensive report demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

At CR3, we believe that ESSG factors are integral to our long-term success. Our inaugural report details our progress in critical areas such as reducing our carbon footprint, promoting diversity and inclusion, and upholding the highest safety and governance standards. In addition, CR3 is committed to supporting all our clients and partners in their transition to clean energy.

We are proud of the strides we have made so far; however, we also recognise that there is always more work to be done. We remain committed to continuous improvement and will continue integrating ESSG considerations into every aspect of our operations.

Sustainable Water Solutions

Significant volumes of contaminated water are generated during the mechanical cleaning of process tubing and equipment. In today’s world, where water conservation is paramount, our innovative treatment and recycling technology offers a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional methods that rely on a continuous supply of water.

CR3 has attained exceptional technical expertise in effluent treatment recycling, stemming from the diverse cleaning operations we have completed across many industrial sectors.

Our commitment to technical excellence has positioned CR3 as an industry leader in this field, ensuring that we continue to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for the complex challenges of water effluent treatment.

CR3 Eco-Hydrodrilling

We are delighted to launch Eco-Hydrodrilling, the new name for our ARDS (Atmospheric Residue De-Sulphurisation) catalyst unloading technology. Eco-Hydrodrilling, formerly known as Advanced Wet Dumping, is a process that combines drilling with high-pressure water jetting to unload heavily fused catalysts faster, safer, and more sustainably than all other methods.

The new name, Eco-Hydrodrilling, represents the ecological benefits of the solution and conveys the critical role high-pressure water drilling plays in the process, as the water is treated and recycled in a closed-loop system for future use, substantially saving water use compared to other techniques.
