The demonstration showcased 6G welding on pipes performed entirely using rope access methodology, a technique that offers practical solutions for accessing challenging work locations whilst maintaining quality standards.
Our IRATA-trained and certified rope access team handled the complete scope of work, including construction of the welding booth (at height), pre-fabrication of pipes, execution of both ARC and TIG 6G welding, and post-welding NDT inspections (UT & MPT).
The inspections confirmed zero defects and zero rejections across all welds completed during the demonstration.
