CR3 India continues to expand its rope access capabilities across the downstream oil and gas sector.
Our recent work at one of India’s largest refineries demonstrates the practical advantages of this access method. The project involved ultrasonic thickness surveying of pipelines using rope access techniques, a first for this client, who previously relied on man-basket systems.
The results were measurable: reduced manpower deployment, fewer man-at-risk hours, increased productivity, and lower overall project costs. What began as a demonstration project has shown the client a more efficient approach to routine inspection work.

This project follows CR3 India’s appointment as an IRATA Operative (Probationary) Member, which certifies our technicians’ training and validates our commitment to rope access safety standards.
Our rope access services now operate across India’s offshore platforms, wind farms, and refinery facilities, handling inspection, maintenance, and NDT work where traditional access methods prove impractical.
