Each standard is developed and maintained by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). Certification is granted following a formal audit by an accredited third-party body — it is not self-declared.

ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management System

Defines the framework within which CR3 delivers services consistently and to specification. It covers documented procedures, process controls, internal audits, management review, and continual improvement cycles.

  • Defined procedures across all service lines
  • Process controls are applied at each stage of delivery
  • Formal internal audit programme
  • Documented corrective and preventive action
  • Management review at set intervals

ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management System

Sets the structure for identifying and managing environmental risks associated with CR3 operations. Covers regulatory compliance, waste handling, emissions management, and site-level environmental controls.

  • Environmental risk identification and evaluation
  • Waste management and disposal controls
  • Regulatory compliance monitoring
  • Environmental objectives set and tracked annually
  • Supply chain environmental requirements

ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health & Safety Management System

The international standard for workplace health and safety. It establishes how CR3 identifies hazards, manages risk, responds to incidents, and maintains legal compliance across all operational environments.

  • Hazard identification and risk assessment processes
  • Legal and regulatory compliance obligations
  • Incident reporting, investigation, and learning
  • Worker participation and consultation
  • Emergency preparedness and response

Integrated Management System

All three standards follow the same high-level structure (ISO Annex SL), which allows CR3 to operate them as a single integrated management system rather than three separate frameworks. This reduces duplication, improves internal consistency, and provides a unified audit trail across quality, environment, and safety.

CR3’s certifications have direct, practical implications for clients — particularly those operating in regulated industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power, and marine.

Consistent, Documented Delivery

CR3 operates according to defined procedures across all project types. Service delivery is not dependent on individual knowledge or site-specific improvisation. Processes are documented, controlled, and subject to regular internal review.

  • Scope, method statements, and quality checkpoints are defined before work commences
  • Deviations are identified, recorded, and managed through formal corrective action
  • Records are maintained and available throughout and after project completion

Reduced Compliance Risk

Clients in regulated industries face their own compliance obligations. CR3’s certifications support client audit requirements and reduce the burden of supplier qualification.

  • ISO 9001 supports quality assurance requirements in the client supply chain standards
  • ISO 14001 aligns with site environmental management plans and contractor obligations
  • ISO 45001 supports site safety requirements and contractor HSE pre-qualification

Accountability and Continual Improvement

Certification is subject to annual surveillance audits and to full recertification every three years. Internal audits are conducted throughout the year. Identified gaps are addressed through documented corrective and preventive action.

  • Management reviews are conducted at defined intervals to assess system performance
  • Objectives and targets are set annually across quality, environmental, and safety performance
  • Performance is monitored and reviewed against these targets on an ongoing basis

Independent Verification

All certificates held by CR3 Group are issued by Bureau Veritas and carry a unique certificate number. Clients can verify certificate status directly with Bureau Veritas at any time — the status of CR3’s certifications is not dependent on information provided by CR3 alone.

  • The certificate number and scope are stated on each certificate
  • Accreditation body information available on request
  • Certificate validity and audit dates confirmed by Bureau Veritas, not by CR3

For vendor qualification, pre-qualification questionnaires, or site access requirements, CR3 can provide the following on request:

  • Certification body details and accreditation information
  • Scope of certification applicable to the services being engaged
  • Contact details for direct verification with the issuing body
