Our Middle East team recently completed the revamp of a Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) for Samsung E&A as part of a major national oil company’s Clean Fuels Project in the UAE.
The scope included comprehensive prefabrication at our yard in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, followed by installation and execution at the client’s facility.
There is no stronger endorsement of our performance than the immediate award of the next phase. Samsung E&A has appointed CR3 to undertake the revamp of the adjacent train, scheduled to begin later this month. This reinforces our partnership with Samsung, which was recently formalised at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi.
Crucially, the project was delivered with a strong focus on safety and quality. Samsung E&A awarded CR3 Middle East a Certificate of Appreciation for our “outstanding contribution,” specifically citing the team’s dedication, professionalism, and excellence during the shutdown. This company-wide accolade was accompanied by individual letters of appreciation for employees who demonstrated exemplary safety performance.
