This project, requiring the replacement of three flare tips on the client’s platforms in the Gulf of Thailand, was executed in close collaboration with our technical partner, Conbit. Their specialised lifting and engineering expertise were instrumental in the project’s success.
Adverse weather conditions posed a significant challenge during the project, forcing a three-day suspension of operations. However, once the weather stabilised, the teams quickly resumed work. Despite the initial delays, the lost time was successfully recovered, allowing the project to stay on track and meet the original schedule, ensuring the safe and timely completion of all three flare tip replacements and associated critical activities.
