One of Asia’s leading Aromatics producers needed to replace its Parex adsorbent, which had reached the end of its operational life, resulting in a significant drop in efficiency and yield.

The client contacted CR3 to provide an optimal plan for the Parex reload. In total, 1,280 m3 (6,400 drums) of adsorbent had to be reloaded, all within a very short timeframe due to the client’s shutdown schedule. Therefore, advanced and detailed planning by CR3 in conjunction with the client was critical to the project’s success.

We are proud to announce that our teams completed the reload and essential repair work to the centre pipe in just 25 days. Furthermore, such was the plan’s efficiency; the client could resume operations much earlier than expected and save over S$10 Million in downtime.
