In a move to streamline its maintenance, Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company (CPOC) has awarded CR3 Malaysia (CRAM) a 2-year term contract to repack spent mercury removal adsorbent from the guard beds offshore, at the onshore Tok Bali Supply Base (TBSB). TBSB serves the oil and gas industry in the offshore peninsular of Malaysia and the Gulf of Thailand.
CRAM will receive around 240 m3 of spent adsorbent per year to repack at TBSB. The scope of works also includes any associated mercury decontamination work.
This 2-year contract provides an excellent opportunity for CR3 to expand their relationship with CPOC and pursue other mercury management opportunities in Malaysia.
