CR3 delivered a range of services to support the fabrication of several topside modules for the client’s new FPSO vessel. Our services included hydrostatic testing, controlled bolting, high-pressure water jetting, chemical cleaning, hot oil flushing and other specialist pre-commissioning services at the client’s yard in Laem Chabang. The modules will undergo additional assembly and installation onboard the FPSO in Singapore before being transported to Brazil to commence operations.
Over 22,000 tons of modules have been designed and built as part of this project, marking it as the largest project delivered by our client from Thailand and one of the largest FPSO vessels in the world. When fully operational, the FPSO will have a production capacity of 220,000 barrels per day.
